Join us for the 2nd annual Grow-Your-Own Festival, a FREE community event celebrating the joys and benefits of edible gardening in high-elevation regions.

This event will be hosted at three unique locations: Tahoe City, Truckee, and South Lake Tahoe. These special events will feature a high-elevation seedling sale and edible gardening demos with a particular emphasis on watershed-friendly practices. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just starting, this event has something for everyone. Grow with us!

Event Activities, 11am-2pm

  • Pick up your pre-ordered seedlings at the Slow Food booth
  • Seedling Sale – (while supplies last) CASH ONLY
  • Learn to grow high-elevation vegetable crops with Master Gardeners.  Ask the experts questions; each Master Gardener will have their own table. Stop by to visit with each one:
