Nothing makes you hungry (or thirsty) like fresh alpine air and gorgeous Lake Tahoe. You can’t eat the view, for gosh sakes! There are a bushel of brewfests throughout Tahoe South and countless culinary events celebrating regionally sourced cuisine.
South Lake Tahoe Food and Wine Fest

Lake Tahoe Brewfest
Saturday, June 5, 2021, Tahoe Brewfest, is proud to welcome beer lovers from all over the world to South Lake Tahoe, We’re inviting locals and out-of-town guests to enjoy a beautiful day of brew together. So please, come for the beer; come for the food; come for the fun. Soak in the Lake Tahoe scenery and, if you can take the chill, soak in the lake itself.
Taste of Gold Food, Wine, Jazz
The Lake Tahoe Community College Foundation’s annual Taste of Gold fundraiser is held in July each year at the College’s Ledbetter Terrace and Demonstration Garden. Eat, drink and dance to support LTCC students and programs! This fun event features gourmet eats from restaurants & caterers around the lake, delicious El Dorado and Amador County wines and hand-crafted beers and spirits, plus Big Band Jazz under the pines!
Tahoe Blue Vodka Bloody Mary Competition Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe
Annually in August, Tahoe Blue Vodka Bloody Mary Competition will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe (around the pool). 15+ Bloody Mary drinks, live music, pool party, cannonball contest, etc. Don’t forget your swimsuit!
Sample the Sierra Food & Wine Festival
Sample the Sierra – A farm-to-fork festival celebrating the best food, wine, and art in the Sierra Nevada. The Sample the Sierra farm-to-fork festival is going digital for the 11th annual event, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Octoberfest at Historic Camp Richardson Resort
Oktoberfest at Lake Tahoe – the yearly celebration of all things German – is in its 26th year at Camp Richardson Historic Resort and Marina October 3 & 4, 2020. Oktoberfest Activities include German food and desserts, an owner and dog dress up contest, craft booths, face painting, pumpkin patch, balloon art, bouncy house, bungee platform, climbing wall, live music, and the event’s ever-popular beer and wine garden.
