Due to the added restrictions by the state of California and the recent announcement from the City of South Lake Tahoe canceling their events through the end of September, we have made the tough decision to cancel the 2020 Tahoe Brewfest.

We want to thank our community and our attendees for being optimistic through this process and hope you all know how much we appreciate your support. On top of being an amazing event bringing craft beer lovers from around the world together, Tahoe Brewfest is also the primary fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, a local non-profit that provides safe, fun and educational programs for local children during out-of-school time. Tahoe Brewfest provides 15% of the Club’s annual budget, and the loss of that income is a major blow to the Club. During this crisis, everyone at the Boys & Girls Club have continued to be rockstars, providing essential services for Tahoe youth!
Jude Wood, the Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, shared, “This is not the outcome we hoped for when we delayed the event to September, but it is the right one for our community and all the amazing people who attend the Tahoe Brewfest. If you are interested in helping the Club during this difficult time you can donate the cost of your ticket to the Club or join our Team AWESOME campaign. More information on Team AWESOME can be found at www.bgclt.org/donate and any donation over $25 gets you the coolest pair of socks you’ve ever seen! 100% of donations will go directly towards youth services.”
All purchased tickets will be automatically transferred to next year’s Tahoe Brewfest which will be held on Saturday, June 5th, 2021. In order to receive a ticket refund or to donate the cost of your ticket, you must submit your request by September 30th, 2020 (link in comments).
We can’t wait to see you on Saturday, June 5th, 2021, raising our glasses in celebration as we kick off a most excellent summer. Cheers!
The Tahoe Brewfest Team
Tahoe Brewfest is proud to welcome beer lovers from all over the world to South Lake Tahoe! We are happy to share the event with locals and out-of-town guests and to come together to enjoy a beautiful day of beer together. This festival offers attendees 5 oz. samples of beer from in and around Lake Tahoe. Breweries in attendance are from North and South Lake Tahoe, as well as other participants from Northern California and Nevada.
Not into beer? Don’t worry! Tahoe Brewfest is open to all ages and this family-friendly festival serves up craft beers and a full spread of delicious food from the area plus live music, games, shopping and more. Tahoe Brewfest is hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe and all proceeds from the event benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe.
Tahoe Brewfest is bringing it! You can expect more vendors, more merchandise, more free stuff. Plus, we’re family-friendly, we have more games for the kids, that will also be fun for you – let’s keep it real – we love the adult humor found in Shrek. They’ll be more music at Tahoe Brewfest including a large shaded area to get out of the heat, and of course, more brew bites that complement a hoppy double IPA and refreshing wheat ale. Don’t forget that our breweries offer unlimited beverage samples. Come join us, eat drink and chill with mountain views.
Tahoe Brewfest, everyone’s invited! (Except Fido – we love animals but unfortunately, all animals need to sit this one out and keep the couch warm at home, sorry!)
