What To Do
The Grateful Red
In time for the busy summer season, Tahoe By Design announced the immediate availability of ten passenger private sightseeing charters with Captain and Crew, providing Tahoe residents and visitors access to luxury sightseeing tours on Lake Tahoe. The luxury boat named ‘Grateful Red’ is known as the Ferrari of Lake Tahoe. “It’s definitely a head-turner and offers comfort, amenities, and style for our guests,” said Bryan Steele, Co-Founder at Tahoe By Design. “She is one of only two red Mariah z250 Limited boats ever built. She has an impressive 454 Mercruiser Big Block 7.4 liter v8 marine engine with 330 horsepower.
The passenger capacity is 12 and includes cubby cabin below deck. She is a smooth ride and fast ride on the lake.” According to Trip Advisor, sightseeing charters are one to the top visitor attractions in Lake Tahoe.
The Grateful Red is available for sightseeing charters, private parties and special events such as engagements and weddings. Availability of boat charters in Lake Tahoe has traditionally been limited due to boat supply and availability. The addition of a luxury boating experience will contribute to the boating options available and overall guest experience when visiting Lake Tahoe. “Five-star customer service, guest comfort, and safety are our top priorities,” said Karen Steele, Founder, Tahoe By Design. “My twenty-five years in hospitality ensure the entire customer experience from booking to lake cruising is impressive.” Tahoe By Design is committed to providing luxury and value, and as a new company, they aim to provide competitive rates as they build their charter business and clientele.
