Nevada Beach

Nevada Beach offers 1/2 mile of beautiful sandy beach with panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains. Swimming, picnicking and just enjoying the view are popular activities. Kayak rentals and a food concession available onsite. On the 4th of July, Nevada Beach offers a spectacular vantage point to view one of the largest fireworks displays in the west! The beach is managed by a concessionaire under a US Forest Service special use permit. On the south end of the Nevada Swimming Beach is a small boat-in picnic area (no loading ramp). Pets on a leash are allowed in this picnic area.

The beach is managed by a concessionaire under a US Forest Service special use permit. Attendants are on duty during operating hours to provide any assistance. Charcoal grilling is allowed only within the grills provided. $8 day use fee/ vehicle ($4.00 for Senior and Access Pass holders). $20 day use fee/ vehicle for the 4th of July.
