Winter 2015 Wide Open for the Wild Side at Tahoe South

The new year’s surge of enthusiasm at Tahoe South has extended into early 2015 with the recent grand opening of The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe (formerly Horizon). McP’s TapHouse Grill opened mid-Jan. in its new location in the Chateau, next door to Harveys on the Calif. side. Casinos, local bars/restaurants swell with nighttime entertainment. New this season is the FNCTN Winter Music Series with live DJs/music at Xhale Lounge located at Stateline Casino Corridor, and rock and funk performances at Lake Tahoe Golf Course every other Friday night through April 17.
Music and entertainment at the new Vinyl at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe includes The Saddle Tramps, Feb. 5; the English Beat, Feb. 7 and Starset, Feb. 13.
MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa welcomes the legendary Beach Boys, March 27 at the MontBleu Theater.
South Shore Room at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe includes Jefferson Starship, Feb. 14; Los Lobos, Feb. 21; Bruce in the USA, Feb. 28; Pat Traver’s Band, March 7; ABBA Tribute Band, ABBAcadabra, March 14; and The Punch Brothers, March 28.
The Improv at Harveys presents comedy weekly including, Will Durst and Chris Mancini, Feb. 11-15; Bob Zany and Larry Brown, Feb. 18-23; James Stephens III, Feb. 25-March 1. Shows begin at 9 p.m. every Wednesday through Friday and Sunday, with 8:30 and 10:30 pm on Saturdays.
