Appetite Meets Altitude During Tahoe South Restaurant Week, Jan. 9-16, 2015
Jan. 7, 2015 (SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif./Nev.) – Gourmet burgers, handmade pastas, mouthwatering steaks, fresh seafood, inventive small plates, and decadent desserts are on the menu Jan. 9-16, at Tahoe South as the area’s restaurants roll out an extraordinary culinary experience for California Restaurant Month.
Participating restaurants include: Artemis Lakefront Café, Beacon Bar & Grill at Camp Richardson, Blue Angel Café, Boathouse on the Pier at Beach Retreat and Lodge, Chart House, Ciera Steak + Chophouse, Cold Water Brewery, ECHO Restaurant, Edgewood Tahoe, FiRE+iCE, Friday's Station, Getaway Café, Gunbarrel Tavern and Eatery, Hungry Bear Restaurant, Jimmy's at The Landing, Kalani's, MacDuff's Pub, Passaretti's Restaurant, Primo's Italian Bistro, Riva Grill, The Fresh Ketch, The Naked Fish, The Timbers, Toast Tahoe, Vinny's Pizza & Pasta. Tahoe South Restaurant Week connects foodies with the area's most notable locally-owned eateries, each recognized for their classic favorites and distinctive dishes. Participating restaurants will feature specially-priced and prix fixe menus highlighting the theme “Made with Altitude.” There are no passes, tickets or coupons. Instead, diners simply visit their favorite participating restaurants throughout the week to enjoy the special menus.

Tahoe South Restaurant Week is part of California Restaurant Month, designated by Visit California. More than 40 destinations across California, from the desert and coast to wine country and High Sierra, will host restaurant weeks and other value-driven food programming this January. Tahoe South Restaurant Week is designed to showcase the stellar chefs and outstanding restaurants that make up the South Lake Tahoe culinary scene through a comprehensive regional marketing effort, sponsored by the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority.
Some restaurants will complement their menus with remarkable lake views while others will let the sparkling night skies showcase a spectacular wintery Sierra Nevada backdrop. Please check with the individual restaurants to see if reservations are recommended.
