It’s considered the official kick-off to fall at Tahoe South and celebrates the best of the region’s harvest season. The crowd favorite farm-to-fork festival features local food, wine, spirits, and brews showcasing the finest samplings from South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular attendee, you’ll find a cornucopia of flavors as local restaurants and establishments highlight their best dishes and beverages.
The festival typically includes over 20 booths featuring a different winery, distillery, or brewery expertly paired with a restaurant using local produce in signature dishes. You’ll also find artists and artisans offering their wares, ranging from jewelry to home décor.
Sample the Sierra makes for an idyllic fall weekend, a perfect time to savor the beautiful weather. Throw in a bike ride, hike, or beach day to accompany the event to cap off your weekend.
