Start each day off fresh and fun with Wake Up Tahoe
A brand new, web-based television program, Wake Up Tahoe with Dreu Murin highlights current events, entertainment and news related to Lake Tahoe with a healthy dose of local flavor. Available daily via YouTube, Wake Up Tahoe is an all-ages show that brings the South Shore a little bit closer for visitors across time zones and continents.
Whether you’re planning an extended vacation or a last-minute getaway, Wake Up Tahoe gives viewers the inside scoop on experiencing Tahoe South “like a local.” With a different co-host each day, the show shares first-hand what is special and unique about our community – items that might otherwise fly under the radar for our visitors.
Wake Up Tahoe was conceived to share the locals’ love of Lake Tahoe’s beautiful South Shore. Hosted by one of our local favorite radio, television, and event hosts, Dreu Murin, Wake Up Tahoe is filmed in front of a live audience weekdays from MontBleu Resort Casino and Spa’s Wedding Chapel, overlooking Edgewood Golf Course (home of the American Century Championship). Beyond the scenery, the show features different themes each day, including Cooking Wednesdays and Mystical Mondays. Don’t be surprised to see Dreu and his guests in costume on occasion (ok, regularly).
As the backbone of the show, Adra Fenstermaker is the producer, writer, reporter, and social media queen. Murin graciously acknowledges that, “without her, the show would have never happened. Also @fabuloustahoe Reporter and Producer, Jack Durst, shoots and edits every show. He’s an amazing guy and I am so lucky to work with such passionate people.”
Wake Up Tahoe features topics ranging from music to food to the environment and upcoming events and top businesses in town.
