Heavenly Happenings For The Holidays – Fun Activities For All
South Lake Tahoe puts the “après” in holiday fun. Christmas lights adorn the shops and decorations are festooned all around the town. There’s so much to do during Heavenly Holidays, you might have to extend your trip to fit it all in. Here’s a glimpse into different types of activities you can enjoy.
For The Music Lover
In its 9th year, this annual three-day festival, occurring from December 29th through the 31st, is a one-of-a kind experience that offers the ultimate fusion of music and mountains. Containing multiple stages of world-class musicians, the live music at SnowGlobe is sure to satisfy ANY music fan.
For the Technology Inclined
Love technology? Need to give your legs a break from shredding on the slopes? Immerse yourself in the world of gaming and compete with other gamers in over 70 multi-players games including copies of Minecraft (up to 24 can play), Halo 4 (16 can play), Mario Kart 8, Nintendoland and Super Smash Bros Wii U(8 can play each), Call of Duty (8 can play), and many others. Check it out at the base of the gondola from December 27th through the 31st.
For The Kiddos
Let’s be honest. Santa lives in the North Pole which means tons of snow. But after Christmas, what does he do? Ski of course! Visit Santa and Mrs. Claus in their own ski shop. They’ll be available to meet and greet through December, as well as take photos with children of all ages.
Fun For All Ages
If Tahoe South is your home away from home this holiday season and you're looking for a fun event with the whole family, consider The Night Before Christmas by Forever Dance. Featuring a large cast of actors, singers, and dancers, it will leave you awed and amazed on December 29th.
As we said, this is only a glimpse into the HUGE array of events, festivals and fun that's happening this Holiday. For the full list of activities, head over to the Heavenly Holidays Family Festival Page.
