Check back for more information on the 2019 schedule of events.
Hardcore Sword competitions and Pirate invasion is scheduled for the second weekend.
Let loose, come in costume (if you want a more immersive experience) and participate in Scavenger Hunts, Costume contests and Talk Like a Pirate Contests! And, take in some of the most intense armored fighting competitions!
Both weekends also boast a variety of shows, games, and crafts for all ages — but styles differ.
"We always gear towards the event being family-friendly, but the first weekend is more geared toward younger kids, and there are more things happening for kids to do," explained Miernik, adding that these activities include learning how to sword fight and having tea with the queen.
The faire will feature four stages of continuous entertainment, Queen Elizabeth's court, Shakespearean plays and vignettes, expertly staged battle scenes and theatrical performances, lively crafts marketplace, storytelling for children and adults, dancing, archery tournaments and much more. There will be merchants selling a wide array of arts and craft including one of a kind jewelry items, wood crafts, artwork, ceramics, clothing, hats, accessories and historic weapons and amazing ales and wine.
Be a part of history. Come in costume, or come as you are and lose yourself in games, theater and splendor of the Renaissance village and marketplace, and its town folk.

There is parking across the street from the faire, but it is first come, first serve and it usually fills up REALLY quickly. Parking at this lot is $5.
We will be running two revolving buses from the casinos at Stateline, to the Y and then to the site. We suggest you park at the Y because your trip will be quicker. You may also park at Kmart, or better yet, TJ Maxx (the Y itself). We will be picking people up from that location.
If you want to brave through to the parking lot across from the faire, but find it full, rather than turning around, drive another two miles further on 89. On the right-hand side, there is a parking lot called "Snow Park". We will be running a van from that location to the site and back.
The buses to the site from the center of town will run from 9:30 a.m. through 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, both weekends. The Minivan from Snow Park will run longer hours.
If you park at Snow Park, please make sure to not leave any valuables and more importantly any food, drink, etc. in your car. Bears have come down from the hills and our cars don't make very good strong boxes. Although we will have security staff keeping an eye on the parking lot, you are parking at your own risk there.
