Thunderbird Lodge/Whittell Mansion Tour
Public tours of the Thunderbird Lodge/Whittell Mansion by land are offered May 21 through mid-October. 11:30 am and 1:00 pm. The tours are $45 for adults and $19 for children ages 6-12.
May 21st through June 22nd - Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays*
June 25th through September 21st - Tuesday through Saturday
September 24th through October 19th - Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays

Peek into the 1930's lifestyle of the rich and famous as you tour the historic Thunderbird Lodge Estate. Your tour begins when you board the shuttle bus at the Incline Village Visitors Center. Informative, docent-led tours are provided as you walk the winding pathways in search of the secret tunnels and learn about this unique property and the eccentric man who built it. Please wear comfortable clothing, walking shoes and be prepared to stand or walk on uneven surfaces. A portion of the tour fee is a charitable contribution.

Reservations are required for all tours. Self-guided tours are not available. Smoking is not permitted in the buildings, on the grounds, or aboard shuttle buses and watercraft. Children must be at least six years old. Comfortable walking shoes are required and a warm jacket is recommended.
