Tales and Trails Festival at Sugar Pine Point State Park
California State Parks will host its third Tales and Trails Festival on Saturday, July 27, 2019, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Free admission. $10 parking - Free shuttle service.
This family event will take place at Sugar Pine Point State Park, located off of Highway 89 on the west shore.
This festival is a fun way to enjoy the afternoon outdoors and learn about the natural and cultural history of Lake Tahoe. Attend nature walks led by park staff and field professionals, spend time on the pier crawfishing with Kenny the Crawfish, enjoy hands-on educational booths from a variety of public and non-profit agencies, experience native Washoe culture and dance and so much more.
Tasty food vendors will be on site. Visits from Kenny the Crawfish and Eddy the Bear throughout the day.
This event is free and open to the public, but parking is available for our $10.00 day-use fee. Free shuttle available. We encourage carpooling, biking and public transportation!
