Oktoberfest at Historic Camp Richardson Resort
Oktoberfest at Lake Tahoe - the yearly celebration of all things German – is in its 24th year at Camp Richardson Historic Resort and Marina October 6 & 7, 2018.
Oktoberfest Activities include German food and desserts, an owner and dog dress up contest, craft booths, face painting, pumpkin patch, balloon art, bouncy house, bungee platform, climbing wall, live music, and the event’s ever popular beer and wine garden. Other contests during the two-day festival range from beer stein holding to yodeling, with winners receiving gift certificates for food, activities and lodging at the resort. Food and beer can be purchased with Camp Richardson’s Oktoberfest tickets that are on sale behind the hotel at the event. Entry and parking are free.
What makes Camp Richardson’s Oktoberfest special? The wide variety of entertaining, family-friendly activities to choose from sets our two-day celebration apart from the rest. Sip from a souvenir beer mug and sink your teeth into a freshly-cooked turkey leg or IPA beer-infused bratwurst created specifically for us. Thrill the kids with a trip to the face painting booth before heading to the bouncy house or bungee jump to burn off some energy. And in addition to a well-stocked beer and wine garden, an assortment of delicious German food and desserts, it's your chance to get up and dance to live music by the crowd-pleasing Gruber Family Band. Plus, it's free to attend!
