Welcome to the South Lake event of the year. Grab a beer. You’re Welcome!
A city known as “America’s all-year playground” needs a summer kickoff party. So while summer technically starts on June 21st, South Lake Tahoe doesn’t care to wait until then. Kick off summer right this June 2nd with 30 breweries, ciders, craft root beer, local entertainment (don’t miss Ike & Martin!) and so much more. Tahoe Brewfest, come for the beer; come for the food; come for the endless sun; soak in the Tahoe scenery, and if you can take the chill, soak in the lake itself.
2017 attendees had a lot to say about Tahoe Brewfest’s first year:
“LOVED IT!!!!! Ike and Martin rocked the house. The music was beyond amazing, please have that band
again, and the beer was great!” -Erin Collins
“Tahoe Brewfest was a blast, can’t wait for this year!” –Katie McGonegal
“We came last year to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary and plan to make Tahoe Brewfest an
annual trip!” –Lauren and Justin Younger
“My wife and I had an awesome time and enjoyed the festival a lot! We would love to come back this
year. We loved the short bike ride from our house too.” Nick Hansen
Expanding on the success of last year, the 2018 Tahoe Brewfest is moving up in more ways than one. More beer, more food, more bathrooms, more space, it’s even moving up in altitude. Vail Epic Promise has donated the parking lot at Heavenly’s Cal Lodge for the event; 150,000 sq ft of endless fun. Even better, 100% of the proceeds go to The Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe.
The website and ticket sales are on track to go live Friday, March 16. Stay updated with participating brewery special features, a weekend itinerary of what’s going on around South Lake, where to be after Brewfest to keep the fun flowing, and most importantly, it’s where the tickets are. The event officially starts at 1pm, but for whoever is the first to grab the limited number of VIP tickets, the unlimited tastings start at noon with a commemorative stainless steel tasting glass.
The Tahoe Brewfest will celebrate everything that is special about the South Shore; locally crafted beers and ciders, naturally crafted mountain and lake scenery, beautifully crafted people. Tahoe Brewfest welcomes you to a truly blissful summer bash in South Lake. We look forward to seeing you there.
