Sunday, August 23, 6:30 pm, Coming off of an electric year with capacity crowds in amphitheaters across the country, PLATINUM selling singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley will bring the SOUNDS OF SUMMER TOUR to 2015 Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series at Harveys Outdoor Arena on Sunday, August 23rd with friends Kip Moore, Maddie & Tae and Canaan Smith stacking the lineup.
Dierks Bentley remarks on his SOUNDS OF SUMMER TOUR, “There have been tours in my career that I thought would be impossible to top, and the past 12 months certainly rank as some of the best and most fun nights of my life. I expect 2015 to beat all of it. I’ve really loved having three other artists out there with us…just more fun on and off the stage and knowing that the fans are getting more music for their money is important to me. Kip, Maddie & Tae and Canaan are three of the hottest rising artists out there right now, and I feel fortunate to be spending the summer with them.”
Bentley’s critically acclaimed and No. one selling album RISER has already produced back-to-back hits “I Hold On” and “Drunk On A Plane,” making him one of only three country artists to earn two RIAA certified PLATINUM and No. one hits in 2014. Bentley has notched 12 chart-topping singles, over five million albums sold, countless CMA, ACM and CMT nominations and membership into the Grand Ole Opry. Bentley recently received his 12th GRAMMY nod with “Country Album Of The Year” for RISER at the upcoming 57th Annual Awards airing in Feb. 2015.
Since the release of MCA Nashville Kip Moore’s debut album, UP ALL NIGHT, the singer-songwriter has earned multi-platinum sales and critical acclaim for his “high energy” (Rolling Stone) live show. Recently named American Country Countdown Award’s “Breakthrough Artist Of The Year,” Moore launched his own headlining tour last fall with multiple sold-out dates and recently earned PLATINUM certification for his No.One smash hit “Hey Pretty Girl,” and DOUBLE PLATINUM status for his chart-topping breakout hit “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck.”
