The "Tennessee Whiskey" singer released his latest two albums: "From A Room: Volume 1" and "From A Room: Volume 2" in 2017. The album "From A Room: Volume 1," won Stapleton the award for Best Country Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, held on Sunday, Jan. 28. Stapleton also took home a Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance ("Either Way") and Best Country Song ("Broken Halos"), bringing his total Grammy Award wins up to five.
Christopher Stapleton is an American singer-songwriter, and guitarist. Born and raised in Kentucky, Stapleton moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he started a career as a songwriter, contributing to the repertoire of a number of artists. As a vocalist, Stapleton led two music groups before releasing three studio albums as a soloist. His music styles include country, Southern rock, and bluegrass.
Stapleton served as the frontman of bluegrass group The SteelDrivers from 2008 to 2010. Thereafter, he released his debut studio album Traveller (2015), which reached number one on the US Billboard 200 and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His second studio album From A Room: Volume 1 was released in May 2017, and gave him his second wins for Country Music Association Award for Album of the Year and Grammy Award for Best Country Album. From A Room: Volume 2 was released in December 2017.
Stapleton has co-written six country number-one songs including the five-week number-one "Never Wanted Nothing More" recorded by Kenny Chesney, "Love's Gonna Make It Alright" recorded by George Strait, "Drink a Beer" recorded by Luke Bryan and "Come Back Song" recorded by Darius Rucker. Over 150 of Stapleton's songs have appeared on albums by such artists as Adele, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley. Among other artists, he has co-written with Vince Gill, Peter Frampton and Sheryl Crow. He is the recipient of several accolades, including five Grammy Awards, five Academy of Country Music Awards and seven Country Music Association Awards.
Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys is an all ages venue. Everyone is required to have a ticket for both reserved and general admission shows and we discourage infants attending.
