Tour de Tahoe Bike

EVENT POSTPONED
Bike the West has made the difficult decision to postpone our America’s Most Beautiful Tour de Tahoe originally set for Sunday, September 12, 2021, due to unhealthy air quality and the nearby Caldor fire. The air quality has consistently been in the unhealthy – very unhealthy range. Although the ride is two weeks away, there is no guarantee that the air quality will improve as conditions change from day to day and hour by hour. Furthermore, Hwy 50 leading to Lake Tahoe is closed for evacuation orders and all of our rest stops on State Park public lands are currently closed. Local agencies are encouraging guests to postpone visits until further notice.

AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFERRED TO 2022
We are extremely disappointed to not be able to produce this ride for two years in a row now and are sure you feel the disappointment as well. All participants, including all that are carried over from 2020, will be transferred to ride America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride on Sunday, June 5, 2022. Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds as we have already invested heavily in producing the event. We thank you for your patience and loyalty and look forward to seeing you at Lake Tahoe.
