Heavenly Mountain Resort is gearing up for a summer filled with hiking, zip lining, sightseeing, dining and more!
It all starts with a ride on the Heavenly Gondola
A 2.4 mile ride up in the Heavenly Mountain Gondola will leave you breathless as you take in panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. On your way up, stop at the Observation Deck for photos, a latte at Cafe Blue or a unique Heavenly souvenir at The Gondola Sports shop. Once you get to the top, head up the Tamarack Express chairlift with your Scenic Gondola ticket for some of the best views of Lake Tahoe and access to a series of hiking trails, ranging from beginner to expert.

Take in one-of-a-kind views of Mt. Tallac and Pyramid Peak as you and up to 3 of your friends or family race down the 4 parallel lines on Heavenly’s 1,000-foot-long zip line at top speeds of 40 MPH. But we were just warming up. The Blue Streak zip line is Hot Shot’s big brother. Enjoy incredible views of Lake Tahoe as you glide through the sky on Heavenly’s 3,300-foot-long zip line. With top speeds at 50 miles per hour, this is a great way to get your adrenaline fix all while soaking up the beautiful California sunshine and refreshing mountain air.
Test your “skillz.”
Test your skills as you conquer one of the three new Adventure Ropes courses, featuring rope bridges, swinging logs, cargo nets, ladders, walkways and other climbing features, all within the safety of a harness. Each course varies in difficulty and provides a different experience, like the unique tree-based ropes course that tests limits while climbing over and around trees. While each course is self-guided, professional staff are on-sight to serve as experiential guides during this challenging adventure.
