Tahoe South Music Spotlight: Harveys Summer Concert Series
The South Lake Tahoe concerts and live music scene really heats up in the summer, and each year the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys hosts some of the hottest acts in music!
Previous artists have included Dave Matthews Band, Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Imagine Dragons. Check out the confirmed lineup so far for the 2017 Lake Tahoe Concert Series below:
Paul Simon | June 25
During his distinguished career Paul Simon has been the recipient of many honors and awards including 12 Grammy Awards, three of which (“Bridge Over Troubled Water”, “Still Crazy After All These Years” and “Graceland”) were albums of the year.
Rebelution | June 30
Rebelution. A dozen years into Rebelution’s stirring career, the release of the California reggae band’s fifth album Falling Into Place finds them more energized than ever! Rebelution with Nahko and Medicine for the People, Collie Buddz, HIRIE, & DJ Mackle are coming to the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys June 30th on their Good Vibes Summer Tour.
Sammy Hagar | July 2
Sammy Hagar & The Circle is a band consisting of rocker Sammy Hagar, Van Halen's long-time bassist Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson. The group released a live album called At Your Service. on May 19, 2015, and a live DVD of the same name in December of that same year. Sammy Hagar says the band's name is The Circle, because it encompasses his forty years of hits.
Train | July 9
Train. Just ahead of the highly-anticipated release of their tenth studio album, a girl a bottle a boat, San Francisco-natives TRAIN today announce their PLAY THAT SONG TOUR. Released on Columbia Records, a girl a bottle a boat is Train’s first set of original music since 2014’s Bulletproof Picasso, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. The album’s first single, “Play That Song,” continues moving up the charts following a standout debut performance on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, which shot the song up over 50 slots overnight on the iTunes.

Third Eye Blind | July 16

Jack Johnson | July 28 & July 29
For the first time since 2014, Jack Johnson is taking his chart-topping catalog on the road for a North American summer tour, kicking off June 2nd at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago, IL, and ending on the West Coast at Lake Tahoe.
Slightly Stoopid | August 4
Slightly Stoopid have unveiled the initial dates for their 11th annual summer tour. The 2017 Sounds of Summer tour will route the California natives to amphitheaters and pavilions across North America and take the band overseas. They will be making a stop at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys August 4th! Joining them will be Iration, J Boog, and The Movement.
The Who | August 16
Rock 'n' Roll icons The Who will bring their electrifying show to the 2017 Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series at Harveys Outdoor Arena for an evening of legendary hit songs.
Linkin Park | September 1
Linkin Park, hip-hop, modern rock, and atmospheric electronica music one night only at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys, Friday, September 1, 2017.
Eric Church | September 2 & 3
Country music singer/songwriter Eric Church has announced the second half of his 2017 "Holdin' My Own" tour, and it begins on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe which he makes a stop at the Outdoor Concert Arena at Harveys on September 2 and 3.
