Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor

You’re adventurous — daring, even. So, after you’ve mastered stand-up paddle boarding or hiked Mt. Tallac, don’t be afraid of adding a little culture to your Lake Tahoe visit, too. Grab a hotel room on the South Shore, drop your bags, and head up Hwy 50 along the beautiful eastern shoreline to Sand Harbor for one of South Lake Tahoe’s most beloved summer traditions. Featuring gorgeous costumes, stunning sets, live music, and professional talent, the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival  is one of South Lake Tahoe’s most beloved summer traditions.

Locals and visitors alike have been celebrating our special twist on the traditional “Shakespeare in the Park” festival for 40+ years.

Gates open for all seating sections at 5:30 pm and all performances begin at 7:30 pm. Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased online or by calling (775) 832-1616.
