New Year’s Eve Festivities in South Lake Tahoe

Every year, around the end of November through New Year’s, Heavenly Village offers up fun for children and adults alike with what’s called Heavenly Holidays. Christmas lights adorn the shops and decorations are festooned all around the town. Throughout the month of December, expect to see a tree lighting, fireworks, live music, rail jams, a holiday Ferris wheel, special performances, and more! There’s so much to do during Heavenly Holidays, you might have to extend your trip to fit it all in. The culmination of these festivities is the New Year’s Eve celebration. 

New Year’s Eve – Heavenly Holidays reach their zenith on New Year’s Eve when fire, lights, and music fill the air. 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm, Live music on the Main Stage.

Ring in 2024 at Heavenly Holidays in the Village with Live Music by The Kristen Brown Band and Decades Band on the Main Stage.

And at 9:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, in time for the midnight Ball Drop in New York City’s Time Square, Heavenly’s Gondola Ball Drop will cross above the crowd, and a fabulous fireworks show will light up the night. The party continues into the night at one of the many casino nightclubs.

Light Up the Night! Celebration at Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino

Heavenly Village isn’t the only show in town on New Year’s Eve. Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe is cranking the party up to 10 with a midnight fireworks show, DJs, and a sprawling NYE celebration you don’t want to miss. Seating begins at 9:00 pm. Click here for more information.

New Year’s Eve Celebration at Bally’s Lake Tahoe

New Year’s Weekend at Bally’s Lake Tahoe! Friday – Sunday, December 29-31, 2023.

Masked in mystery and draped in decadence, Bally’s Lake Tahoe invites you to indulge in an evening of grandeur and debauchery as they ring in 2024! This is a celebration you won’t want to miss. Opal Nightclub. Includes admission to Opal Nightclub, New Year’s Eve Party Favors, and Champagne Toast at Midnight. Doors open at 10:00 pm. Must be 21+.

Ring in 2024 at The Loft Theatre

The Loft Lounge will be transformed into the New Year’s Eve dance party headquarters in the Heavenly Village. The soiree will feature an open bar from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, music from DJ/Producer Groove Cartel and a midnight champagne toast. The party starts at 9:30 pm, and goes until 2:00 am. General Admission tickets are $100.00 (+tax/fees). General Admission tickets are standing room only. Very limited seating. Join us before the party! Our award-winning restaurant, Taste At The Loft, will feature a high-end buffet for $99/person plus tax and gratuity which includes a glass of champagne. There will be two seatings in the dining room on New Years Eve, 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Reservations for dinner on New Years Eve can only be made by emailing frank@thelofttahoe.com

And there’s also our award-winning show in The Loft Theatre with two performances prior to the Ultra Lounge Dance Party. Tahoe’s #1 rated show, Magic Fusion starring Chase Hasty & Kaileigh, performs at 4:30PM, 7:00 PM, and a special adults-only, Magic After Dark show at 9:00PM on December 31.

New Year’s Eve Cruise on the M.S. Dixie II

Ring in 2024 under the stars with the scenic views of Lake Tahoe on the M.S. Dixie II, one of Zephyr Cove’s top destinations. On Sunday, December 31, embark on the New Year’s Eve cruise starting at 6:30 p.m. to soak in the surrounding Emerald Bay, enjoy a fine meal, participate in the traditional (eastern-time) countdown, and commemorate the evening with a champagne toast.
