2013 Lake Tahoe Summit Hosted by Senator Harry Reid
August 19, 2013 | Sand Harbor State Park | 9:00 AM

Since the first Presidential Forum in 1997, federal, state and local leaders have come together to discuss the importance of protecting and restoring Lake Tahoe.  In 1997, then-Vice President Gore was instrumental in gathering stakeholders and bringing much needed attention to the problems facing the Lake Tahoe Basin. We are honored to welcome him back this year to discuss A Clean Lake Legacy: Preserving Tahoe and the Environment for Future Generations.

Please join us on August 19th for the 17th Annual Lake Tahoe Summit at Sand Harbor State Park on the East Shore of Nevada. Check-in begins at 9am and the event commences at 10am. General parking is available, but limited, at Sand Harbor. We recommend you carpool or take advantage of East Shore Express shuttle service at 771 Southwood Blvd at the old Incline Elementary School. The Summit is once again outside, so please dress appropriately for a summer morning on the East Shore. The event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are requested. To RSVP please complete the registration information here. For questions, please email summit2013@tahoefund.org
