The Highway 50 Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to horse and wagon enthusiasts, and the historical reenactment of the "Great Western Migration". We invite you to participate in our 64th Anniversary run in the summer of 2013.
Take a step back through the portals of time and relive the adventures and rigors of the early pioneers as they forged their way west.
Rendezvous at Zephyr Cove for an evening of cowboy poetry, western music and New York Steak BBQ, hosted by Wagon Train and open to the public. ($25. Covers the BBQ & entertainment), on June 1, for the 64th Annual Highway 50 Wagon Train, Depart on June 2, travel west on Highway 50, with overnight stops along the way, arriving in Placerville at High Hill Ranch on Friday, June 7.
Saturday, June 8, pull into Placerville for an all day celebration as we pass through Broadway, Downtown, and on to Placerville Drive for the Grand Finale afternoon and evening of live music, BBQ and family fun.
