This event was originally several Bay Area mountain bike clubs getting together for a weekend in Tahoe and doing some trail work while they were here.  TAMBA is running with it now and we hope to grow it to a well attended weekend of building, riding, and mingling with other mountain bikers. 

It is scheduled for July 20-22 in South Lake Tahoe. There will be an informal twilight ride on Friday night from camp, Trail work on Saturday with the Tahoe Rim Trail on the new connector trail from the Stagecoach parking lot, and several showcase ride options around South Lake Tahoe on Sunday. 

People can join in for all or part of the weekend.  Free dry camping for out of town trail workers will be available by special arrangement from Nevada State Parks at Van Sickle State Park.  Lunch on the trail day will be provided by Sierra Sports Marketing and the Sierra Cup Mountain Bike Race Series.
 
The trail work on Saturday, July 21 will meet at 9am at the Stagecoach parking lot at the end of Tramway Drive.  All are welcome, but participants need to have typical personal protective equipment for trailwork including: eye protection, gloves, long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy shoes.  In addition, bring personal items needed to stay safe and comfortable in the field, such as water, snacks, sunscreen, etc.
