They'll gather June 2nd - 3rd & 9th - 10th for South Lake Tahoe's favorite festival, the 20th annual Valhalla Renaissance Faire. Be a part of history and join in revelry in costume, or come as you are and immerse yourself in the atmosphere, games, theater and the  splendor of England's Golden Age.

Drawing more then 8,000 visitors, the Valhalla Renaissance Faire is a unique entertainment experience and an extraordinary outing for children. This unique festival includes real jousting sessions and full armored combat between knights, along with culinary delicacies, craft demonstrations, ancient music, dance and comedy. Patrons will participate in archery, javelin throws, and fencing. Activities for the children will include games, crafts, a petting zoo, puppet shows and storytelling.  

The Valhalla Renaissance Faire recreates a renaissance village on festival weekends and includes a merchant marketplace with nearly 100 unique merchants and crafters.
