Native Species Festival at Taylor Creek Visitor Center

The U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit will host the fourth annual Native Species Festival on May 30. This free family event is from 10 am -4 pm at the Taylor Creek Visitor Center, located three miles north of South Lake Tahoe on Highway 89. “Growing Up Muir” with John Muir’s Great-Great-Grandson at the South Lake Tahoe Library

May 30th, Saturday, 1 PM. John Muir’s Great-great-grandson, Robert Hanna will share an intimate view of John Muir during a very special presentation. “Growing Up Muir” offers a personal view of Muir from the perspective of his family.
