South Lake Tahoe | Taylor Creek

Taylor Creek in South Lake Tahoe is fun to visit at any time of year, but in the fall, the wildlife really puts on a show! Local photographer Merick Rickman went out and was able to snap a few photos of the "locals" you can see when you visit.

Blue herons keep watch from the tree tops.

Note: The Taylor Creek Visitor Center is currently closed due to the government shutdown, but parking is available outside the Forest Service gate. Please use caution when parking and walking alongside the highway.
