This is not my wedding photo. I’d like it to be… I mean, Emerald Bay makes a pretty spectacular backdrop.
If you’re planning a wedding, there are few locations that rival Lake Tahoe. The natural beauty, 300+ days of sunshine annually, and the ease of transportation (including nearby major airports) are tough to beat. Here along the South Shore, we have miles of shoreline and trails, plenty of options for relaxing and pampering, and a veritable cornucopia of activities to match every bridal party’s energy levels.
What’s one of the best ways to find out about all Tahoe South has to offer as a wedding location? From the ceremony to the cake, your hair to the ring bearer’s boutonniere, the third annual Something Blue Lake Tahoe Bridal Show (March 3 at MontBleu Casino Resort) will feature more than 45 local Lake Tahoe wedding vendors that can help you craft the day of your dreams. There will also be raffle prizes, a fashion show, music, food samples, and champagne. Yay, champagne!
Vendors will include:
- Ceremony and Reception Vendors
General Admission is only $10 in advance ($15 at the door). Children under 12 are free.
In addition, Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa is offering a bridal show lodging special. Rates start at $89 plus tax (single queen, full lake view). Call them directly at (800) 448-4577 for this great deal.
Georgette Riley is the marketing coordinator for the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority. Although she’s been married a few years, she rarely passes up an opportunity for champagne and cake, so you may just see her at the bridal show.
