Where can you see Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Aaron Rodgers, Tony Romo and Ray Romano on the same golf course? Only at the 23rd Annual American Century Championship (ACC) at Edgewood Tahoe, July 17-22!
The ACC will award $600,000 in prize money, with the winner taking home $125,000. This year's 54-hole tournament promises an impressive field of 78 returnees and newcomers. Celebrity sightings, parties and superstar entertainment are also on tap for South Lake Tahoe during the week-long festivities.
Defending champion and Hollywood actor Jack Wagner will return with hopes of adding a third victory to his trophy shelf. He'll face stiff competition against 2010 ACC winner and former NFL quarterback Billy Joe Tolliver, eight-time ACC winner Rick Rhoden, and four-time ACC champion and NHL star Dan Quinn.
Commitments to the championship event indicate one of the strongest NFL fields in the golf tournament’s history with a roster of:
- Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo
- Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers
- San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith
- Denver Broncos Hall of Fame quarterback and VP of Operations John Elway
- NFL Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Marshall Faulk
