Last Friday, Cam and I went for a little hike on a section of the Tahoe Rim Trail right by our house. The aspens were at their peak color and we wanted to enjoy the fall beauty before the snowstorm. It was really relaxing to take a walk in the woods and see the gorgeous leaves. I'm so glad we went because we ended up getting blanketed in snow Monday - Wednesday. Luckily the weather is warming back up a little bit and the snow is all melted off the roads, but many of the leaves are gone now.

Thankfully, I have these photos to remember that golden afternoon.

I feel blessed we get to live in such a beautiful place!
