Etnies photo contest winner represents Tahoe

Posted in Local Culture | October 30, 2012 | By Tahoe South

This awesome shot perfectly illustrates the passion of our year-round outdoor mecca we call Lake Tahoe. Congratulations to Nevada resident Rafal Bogowolski for winning the “Etnies Planet is Your Playground” photo contest. Way to go, Rafal!

Etnies received several worthy photo entries from exotic destinations around the world but Rafal's epic photo of Lake Tahoe earned him the grand prize, an all-expenses paid trip to Hawaii. Ah, paradise – second to Tahoe of course!

"Lake Tahoe is one of the few places in the world where you can do almost every activity there is--rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, wakeboarding--and in the same day go skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, or even pondskimming among Brazilian bikinis," Bogowolski wrote about the shot.
