To the American Century Championship (ACC) and the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority (LVTA), success is more than a reward; it's a responsibility. Success is a way to support our community and improve the lives of others by giving back.
We’re proud to celebrate 23 years with the ACC. The championship is network television’s longest running celebrity golf tournament and it’s held right here – in our beautiful playground!
This year $80,000 will be distributed to organizations in the Tahoe South community as a result of the 2012 tournament and volunteer efforts.
We encourage all South Shore nonprofit organizations to apply for donations by October 15. The application may be downloaded online, and mailed to the address below. Recipients will be announced November 1 and presented with checks at the LTVA Board of Directors meeting on November 8 at 3 pm.
To be eligible, each organization must meet 501(c)3 certified nonprofit guidelines and outline its mission, how the donation will be used and the anticipated impact in the community.
Applications must be received in writing by October 15 at 5 pm:
